It took me a while to think about what I wanted to do for this project. I wanted to do something creative, but not too limiting so that I could work with plenty of different ideas. I know that I want to make my animation with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects. My idea right now is that my real-life scene will be me getting on a bike and going for a ride. While I’m riding, I look around and start to daydream. The video will transition into the animated portion of my video. For my animation, I am going to animate myself riding a bike. It will be a looping animation so as to make my life a little easier. The scene will start off very tame. I will bike past different landscapes and environments. The animation will progressively get crazier, as I bike off of ramps and start to do weird tricks. Maybe I will do something where I go into different dimensions, so the animation style and the backgrounds change drastically. A scene could include me riding into a portal and popping out somewhere else on the screen. There are a lot of wacky things that I could animate myself doing on a bike. I will fall off my bike in the animation and the video will transition back to the real-life scene, where I actually fall off my bike into the grass. It will end there. Below I’ve added a storyboard for my plan for project 3. I have already started the animation and I am planning to get all my real-life-scene videos on March 19. I have also already started searching and downloading sound files that I will use in my video.
