For project 2, I want to get creative with my sound story. It would be easy to do a “day in the life” audio experience, but I want to be more unique with it. I have some experience with sound design and sound editing so that will make my life a little easier. Looking at all the sound files in the folder makes me excited because there are so many different noises I could use for this project. I have a couple ideas for project 2 that I’ll list below.
I could go for a creepy and scary vibe for my audio experience where you will be thrown into an unsettling environment filled with eerie droning and mysterious noises. A noise that sounds like footsteps, starts from a distance but gets closer and louder. And after that it will be revealed (through sound) that it was all a dream.
My project could also be a more relaxing experience. For example, I could make my project about a nice Saturday morning at a cat cafe. I could also make it about a relaxing scenic drive or a walk in the woods. It would be something that relaxes the listener and makes them feel calm.
My project could go in the opposite direction and be super chaotic with several noises layered on top of each other. It could be about having to multitask because you have a lot of things to do. It could be a chaotic day where everything goes wrong.
Another idea is an underwater audio experience. It could be creepy, relaxing, or chaotic.
