I have several ideas for a zine that I could create including plants, life and death, color contrast, greyscale, and rocks.

Zine Idea: Plants

One idea that I think could be fun is a zine that shows the process of a plant growing. It will alternate between the illustrator and photoshop images. The first page will be of a flowerpot with a small sprout. The last page will have a fully grown and thriving plant. The cover for the zine will be similar; the front cover will be of a plant that is merely a sprout, and the back cover will be a fully grown plant.

Zine Idea: Life and Death

I would use a variety of symbols representing life and death and contrast them in my zine. I would have different scenes and two pages per scene. One page for a scene will be lively and colorful. The other page would be barren and desolate. The front cover would represent life while the back cover would represent death.

Zine Idea: Color Contrast

Every spread of the zine will have side-by-side images of contrasting colors to make it interesting.

Zine Idea: Sharks

I really like sharks. A zine about sharks would start in shallow waters and end in the midnight zone. Each page will feature sharks that go deeper and deeper down into the ocean.

Zine Idea: Rocks

This idea is very basic. I really like rocks and I think they’re fascinating so I would have a fun time making a zine about them.

Zine Idea: Grey Scale

This is a more aesthetically pleasing zine idea that I have. Every page will be in black, white, and grey. However, every page would have a different vibrant accent color to make it visually interesting and pleasing to the eye. This zine would likely be more abstract and geometric in style.

Zine Idea: Background Art & Landscapes

Backgrounds are something I want to improve at. I would learn a lot doing a zine about them.
